Welcome to LJOS – an evocative outdoor experience at beautiful Maihaugen.
In the dark December evening, the Garmo stave church lights up. The stage and scenery are the historic buildings and the frozen lake. New this year is that dance is also part of the experience together with music from the jazz musician Arve Henriksen.
- The performance starts at 18.00 by the lake by Garmo stave church in the open-air museum.
- Entrance through the visitor centre. Exit through the gate below the main building.
- Duration just under 30 minutes.
- Hot drinks are sold by the entrance.
LJOS is included in the entrance ticket to Maihaugen. Applies to the museum's program 12.00–18.00. Free admission with annual pass.
Entrance to LJOS only is half the price of the regular museum entrance fee for adults. Free admission for children and young people (under 25 years) and students.
