"Cycle the Øyerfjellet mountain road through spectacular scenery with a sprinkling of picturesque mountain farms. Stay the night, or stop for a while to enjoy the experiences on offer. Farms offering accommodation has a service cabinet with bicycle repair equipment and tools. Øyerfjellet can be accessed via several routes, and some visitors prefer to bring the car and park at one of the mountain farms. Another option is to start in Hafjell, ride the gondola to the top, and follow the mountain road into Øyerfjellet. The way-marked “Setervegen” route runs through a spectacular landscape sprinkled with mountain farm. There are several reasons why Øyerfjellet is popular among cyclists. Its landscape is made up of gentle plateaus with marshes, birch forests, and bare mountains – most of which is located between 850 and 1000 m above sea level. An extensive road network offers round-trips suitable for all, and there are also several tractor-tracks and trails ideal for cycling. "
