Horseback Riding

Explore the Norwegian mountain scenery on horseback – a spectacular nature experience. Horseback riding is suitable for people of all ages and skill levels, and among the options available are gentle rides with leader for the very young, full-day and one-hour trips, riding holidays and weekends or introductory lessons to learn the most basic techniques.

Equipment: When going riding, it is important to check the equipment. Helmet is mandatory for all. You can either borrow a riding helmet from the stables, or bring your own. Your footwear should cover your ankles, and should have heels and soles without deep treads. Avoid trousers with thick seams; they will chafe (no jeans/denims). Bring warm clothing, and wind and waterproofs. The mountain can get cold – also in summer.
