In the region Lillehammer and Gudbrandsdalen you will find two of Norway's national parks, Rondane National Park and Langsua National Park.
Rondane was Norway's first national park, and was established in 1962. In the national parks there are nature laws that apply. They are created to preserve and protect large natural areas.
