The Old Milk Route from Vinstra to Gol (250 km)

“Mjølkevegen” (the old milk route) was voted the third nicest cycling route in Norway in 2009.

This route will give you everything Valdres has to offer and you can choose if you want to cycle the entire route from Vinstra or only parts of the route. Norske Bygdeopplevelser (www.norske-bygdeopplevelser.no) offers a six-day all inclusive package tour along the Mjølkevegen. Experience beautiful mountain areas and pass by one of Norway’s largest summer farm areas.

Combine this tour with hiking, swimming, fishing and visits to traditional mountain farms and enjoy many nature- and cultural experiences. A large part of the route is marked, but it may vary. We therefore recommend that you bring a detailed map.
