About
Experience a true Norwegian winter in the legendary 1994 Olympic trails at Birkebeiner Ski Stadium. Our beginner-friendly cross-country ski course is the perfect introduction for anyone who wants to try an authentic winter activity in Lillehammer.
The course starts with a warm welcome, a short introduction to Norway’s skiing culture, and fitting of all equipment. Our English-speaking instructors guide you step by step through the basics: how to balance, glide, turn, and brake. You’ll learn classic cross-country skiing in a safe and relaxed atmosphere—no stress, just fun and winter joy.
Surrounded by snow-covered forests and open mountain views, this activity combines learning with beautiful nature experiences. After the course, you can enjoy hot drinks, local sweet snacks, photo opportunities, and a small diploma ceremony.
Everything is included—skis, poles, boots, instruction and refreshments—so you can simply show up and enjoy. Birkebeiner Stadium is easy to reach by car or by bus from Lillehammer city centre, followed by a short walk.
A perfect activity for families, friends, or first-time skiers who want to create a memorable winter moment in Norway’s ski capital.
