About
For spectacular views of Lillehammer and Mjøsa's southern part, we recommend a moderately challenging trip on the western side of Mjøsa.
From Lillehammer, cycle across the Vingnesbrua bridge and follow signs for Saksumdal. After a gradual climb to the top of Vingnes, follow Vottestadvegen (known locally as Panoramavegen) to Brattberg farm. This is the highest point; stop to take in the spectacular views and then go back the same way.
The route follows dirt-roads and is approx. 10 km in each direction.
