About
Shimocon is a local event that brings together children, youth, and adults with an interest in gaming and geek culture. Following the successful event last year, Shimocon returns with a strong focus on community, creative expression, and being a social meeting place.
The event features gaming culture, cosplay, competitions, and a variety of activities related to popular culture and fandom. Shimocon emphasizes a safe, inclusive, and alcohol-free environment, where participants of all ages and interests can come together to share enthusiasm, creativity, and a sense of belonging.
Shimocon is open to everyone, with special consideration and accommodations for youth and families.
Ticket revenue is used to further develop Shimocon as an event.
Ticket information:
Ages 0–6: Free entry – must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
Ages 7–12: Children's ticket – must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. NOK 125 for both days
Ages 13+: Adult ticket. NOK 250 for both days
