TurBirken 53 km takes place on Friday, March 13th, 2026, following the beautiful course from Rena to the Birkebeineren Ski Stadium in Lillehammer. You choose your preferred start time when you register, and whether you want to participate with or without timing. The trail is wide, with classic tracks on one side, allowing you to ski in either classic or free technique. There’s plenty of space for everyone.
All participants must carry a backpack weighing at least 3.5 kg, and be 16 years old by December 31st, 2026. TurBirken is also a seeding race for the following year’s Birkebeinerrennet.
