Nordseter is a mountain area near Lillehammer. It is located a mere 20 km from the town centre, and is ideal for hiking, cycling, and cross-country skiing. In this spectacular scenery, skiers can enjoy a 350 km trail networkstretching across the landscape.
From Nordseter, the mountain plateaus with their open, gentle terrain are within easy reach. The area is as spectacular in summer as it is in autumn, and has a vast network of way-marked trails to suit hikers of all abilities. There are also excellent cycle routes available.
The ski lift at Nordseter is ideal for young families wishing to learn snowboarding or improve their alpine and telemark skiing skills. It is a 500 m button lift, with an 80 m difference in altitude.
If you prefer a combination of the charming Lillehammer town centre and the mountains, Nordseter is the perfect destination. There is a café by the car park (where the bus stops) where you can enjoy freshly made buns and a coffee after your trip.
