About
A technically demanding bicycle route in beautiful scenery, suitable for experienced mountain bikers.
It starts with a steep climb up to Skeikampen, or you can choose to take the chair lift to the
top.
From the top of Skeikampen, the route goes north on excellent single track with a wonderful view. Here you can see into the national parks of Jotunheimen and Rondane.
When you get to Avlundskampen there's a steep and rocky section down to where the paths cross. Continue on the narrow path straight through Almannskardet and into Skardbua. From Skardbua the route runs west towards Slagsfjella and further to the lake Skjellbreida.
On wonderful paths it carryies down towards the Peer Gynt road, where the road leads from here back to Skeikampen.
