Both places offers local food esperiences. At Spidsbergseter Resort Rondane you can visit the world’s only Aquavit barn. This is the original goat barn from the 1850s. Lunch or dinner in the mountains of Espedalen - Elgland - The moose valley

A journey through Elgland - the moose valley - is the area where one of Europe’s largest and most unique moose migrations take place every year. Elgland extends from Kittilbu Outdoor Museum in the south through Espedalen to Skåbu and to Glittersjå in Murudalen.

Along the way you can experience local Norwegian food at several unique mountain hotels. You should also visit Northern Europe's largest potholes in  Helvete Nature Park. Exploring this area named Helvete (Hell) is one of Norway’s most exciting wilderness adventures – a vast gorge where large "hollows" were formed towards the end of the last Ice Age when water and rocks from the melting ice rotated inside the mountain.
