The Birkebeiner Race

You may not be aware of this, but Birken offers skiing, running, and cycling races for the whole family. There are events for all age groups, and every race features the full spectrum of challenges.

BarneBirken (children) and UngdomsBirken (youth) are important events for the young, and the organiser takes these every bit as seriously as the adult races. The setting is the same, and so is the excitement – regardless of age or fitness level.

The Birkebeiner ski race (54 km) is the winter highlight of Birken Ski Festival, whereas the Birkebeiner run (21 km) and the Birkebeiner MTB race are the highlights of summer.
