Birken mountain marathon is the newest addition to the Birken run weekend.

Start at Sjusjøen cross country arena and finish by Håkons Hall, Lillehammer. The trail is 42 km, and participation is available for all by the age of 16 per 31.12.24

Track
The track will be along the same route as the UltraBirken run trail, from Sjusjøen, across Lunkefjell, round Nevelvatnet, via Nevelfjell and Mesnasaga before finishing by Håkons Hall.

Classes
The marathon has age classes with 10 year intervalls, the youngest being 16-19 yrs. Continuing with 20-29, 30-39 etc. Prizes for the top 3 men and female in each class.

Start
Start is 08.00 a.m at Sjusjøen cross country arena. 
Free bus from Håkons Hall to the start at Sjusjøen 06.30 a.m.
