During the winter holiday of 2027, Lillehammer will welcome the world as the IBSF World Championships in Bobsleigh and Skeleton take place at the Olympic Sliding Centre. The world's best athletes will compete for championship glory in one of the sport's most iconic venues, delivering breathtaking speed, excitement and unforgettable moments.
But this is more than a world championship. Over two action-packed weeks, the Sliding Festival will offer activities, entertainment and experiences for all ages, both at the venue and throughout the Lillehammer region.
The championships are also part of the celebration of Lillehammer's 200th anniversary in 2027, making this a truly special occasion for local residents and international visitors alike.
