AboutLysaker Cafe is an old building from 1770 which originally stood at Lysaker, was later demolished and rebuilt at the Norwegian Road Museum at Lillehammer.
Bjørn Hettervik runs the kitchen at Lysaker Café. He has long and varied experience from many different eating places. In recent years, Bjørn has been focusing on food as a source of joy, and has inspired other companies to provide good food good experiences.
«At Lysaker we want to be rather down-to-earth; we wish to make good solid food inspired by the seasons and available raw materials. We use suppliers whom we know to deliver good quality and preferably local goods». In the summertime, the restaurant is family friendly with a separate menu for children. It has tasty bakery goods, yummy waffles, dinner courses, sandwiches and light snacks.
