Snowshoe trails 

In Nordseter Fjellpark we can offer snowshoe trails to all those who want to get out into the fresh air and experience the Norwegian winter in a different way than skiing. We make sure that everyone, regardless of age and ambition, has the opportunity to get out into the beautiful winter landscape.

Snowshoe trails usually go outside the regular ski trails and in combination with transport trails for snowmobiles. Fortunately, there is not much snowmobile traffic at Nordseter, so the trails can also be used for more recreational purposes such as snowshoeing and fat biking.

Snowshoeing allows you to get out into places where you would not normally want to ski. You can experience nature in a completely new and exciting way.

You can combine the snowshoe trails with your own tracks and connect to the prepared ski tracks. There are countless possibilities for making a great trip, either in the forest or on the steep mountains. You can walk along the prepared trails or on the side (just don't step in the track). Be considerate of everyone else who wants to be outside, and there will be no problem.

The snowshoe trails can also be combined with our new Trekking skis from OAC. It is a wide ski with a binding that all winter boots fit in. Here you can snowshoe on skis. Go for long walks and float outside the ski track and enjoy the silence

It is easy and fun to take the children out into the snow to play or explore the forest - without having to rely on skis. It is magical to walk between the fir trees where the hare and the squirrel live.

We have snowshoe rentals and trekking skis for adults and children in the Ski Rental at the Service Center and we will give you instructions and help so that you get the best possible experience.
