Welcome to BarneBirken Ski (Children's Birkebeiner ski race) in Lillehammer
The event is for all children between 0 - 11 years old. The race is nordic classic, and all participants are requiered to carry a backpack with clothes and a packed lunch, just like the real Birkebeiners. There is no time keeping.
All participants recieve a diploma, a medal and a prize.
Start and finish at Birkebeiner Ski Stadium.

The Birken Ski festival offers challenges for everyone
Throughout the week Birken Ski festival offers challenges for everyone. In addition to the Birkebeiner Race there are different distances: Ingalåmi, the women's race 5/15 and 30 km, TurBirken 54 and 27 km, StafettBirken 7,5 km x4 (the relay), UngdomsBirken (Youth ski race)15 km and also the children's race.
