HalvBirken offers the perfect blend of nature, cycling joy, and a true sense of achievement. At half the distance of the 84 km Birkebeinerrittet, it still gives you a memorable ride through beautiful mountain scenery.

This is a race for everyone – whether you’re an elite rider, a recreational cyclist, or simply looking for a great tour. You can choose to ride with or without timing.

As in all Birken races, participants must carry a backpack weighing at least 3.5 kg.
Anyone aged 17 or older by December 31, 2025, is eligible to participate.
